What our water quality testing covers
Whether you're on a private well or city water, what's in your water matters to your household. We collect samples properly, send them to an accredited laboratory, and translate the results into plain language — so you know whether your water is fine or worth addressing.
Private wells in Florida aren't regulated, so no one tests them unless you do — and even city water can pick up contaminants between the plant and your tap. We collect your samples following proper protocol and have them analyzed by an accredited environmental laboratory, then give you a clear written report you can actually act on.
What we test for
- Bacteria — total coliform and E. coli
- Nitrates and nitrites
- Heavy metals such as lead, arsenic, and iron
- Hardness, pH, and total dissolved solids
- Other parameters on request, depending on your concern
Well water vs. city water
If you're on a private well, the EPA recommends testing at least once a year — wells can be affected by nearby septic systems, agriculture, flooding, and ground conditions. On city water, testing is usually about what happens after the water reaches your home: older plumbing, fixtures, or a recent taste, smell, or color change.
How we test
- Proper sample collection following laboratory protocol
- Analysis by an accredited environmental laboratory
- The right test panel chosen for your situation
What you receive
- A plain-language written report of every result
- Accredited lab results compared against recognized safe levels
- Practical recommendations — including whether anything needs to be done
